Yunnan Golden Monkey inhabit forests in the Yuling Mountains of southwest China. There are fewer than 2,000 Yunnan golden monkeys left in Yunnan's old-growth alpine forests. Some social organisations and local communities are protecting this species by tracking the monkeys’ movements, protecting monkeys’ homes, restoring forest habitat and educating communities.
